A 50g pack of potato chips may contain 280 calories. 3 medium-sized apples have around 285 calories. So, what’s your pick for a snack? Chips or apples? Do you find yourself thinking, “I’ll go for the chips, after all, it’s just 280 calories”? Well, then here’s some shocking news for you. Not all calories are equal. There is a stark difference between eating a pack of potato chips and apples. Because there is more to nutrition than calories. A new study has found that eating ultra-processed foods can lead to poor reproductive health in men. A recent study by the researchers at the University of Copenhagen's NNF Center for Basic Metabolic Research (CBMR) found that consumption of ultra-processed foods can lead to a decline in sperm quality. The findings are published in the journal Cell Metabolism.
